Erina Huang

Erina Huang is the Investment & Operations Director at YES Capital, where she leads the investment execution and operational delivery of the firm’s large-scale development projects across New Zealand. Working at the intersection of capital, compliance, and project delivery, she helps translate investor confidence into tangible, investment-ready assets with clarity, discipline, and measurable progress.

YES Capital is a wholesale-focused investment platform that connects global investors with institutional-grade, de-risked opportunities. By investing exclusively in its own projects, the firm ensures that capital is directly tied to real assets and visible outcomes. Its portfolio spans some of New Zealand’s strongest growth sectors, including tourism, aged care, pharmaceuticals, and agri-tech-linked developments, each aligned with regional growth strategies and immigration priorities.

Erina brings more than a decade of experience in New Zealand’s building and development industry, underpinned by a background in architectural design. Her career has combined deep technical expertise with commercial and operational leadership. She built her regulatory foundation within Auckland Council’s Building Consents team, developed specialist capability in building code compliance and quality systems as a Compliance Specialist with an IANZ-accredited consultancy, and later led the end-to-end delivery of complex developments as a Design Manager for New Zealand property developers.

This breadth of experience gives her a rare ability to combine investment discipline, technical authority, and delivery oversight. She is known for anticipating risks early, streamlining approval pathways, and ensuring capital is deployed into projects that are structured, compliant, and execution-ready.
